Back at work, in many more ways than one. In the day job, I'm happy. It's an awesome job, but I've got a lot to learn. It's not really a learning curve I've got to climb--it's more like Break out the pitons, ropes, and spiked shoes--it's like some grade 5 near- vertical ascent. But I'm looking forward to it--if you're not learning every day, you're wasting your time, right?
For anyone who's paid attention, a few posts back, I amused myself with trying to write a "biopunk" story. Apparently, I did okay. I sent the story in to Morpheus Tales--they were the ones with the Special Biopunk issue--and my story got picked up! Not sure yet when it's coming out, but my "Screaming Monkeys" will be part of the issue.
I'm also working on something longer and bigger, but it's still in the beginning stages. We'll see how that goes. Either way, doing first draft work is always fun.
Keep reading, and I'll keep writing.
